IMSians attended 26th GMA Convention

With the vision to induce Industry Interaction among its Students, IMS Ghaziabad has provided an opportunity to its Students to attend the 26th Annual Convention of GMA.
On November 21, 2015; Ghaziabad Management Association (GMA) organized its 26th Annual Convention “Make in India- opportunities and strategies” on at Hotel Country Inn, Sahibabad. Shri Rakesh Chharia, General Secretary, IMS Society along with Faculty members – Dr. Sunayana Jain, Dr. Yogita Sharma, Dr. Sheelesh Sharma and PGDM Students represented IMS Ghaziabad during the convention. Various delegates, corporate professionals and well known entrepreneurs were invited to share their vast experiences of their corporate life and their views on Make in India.

The programme witnessed speakers like Mr V.K. Dubey, Vice president GMA & MD Continental Carbon India Limited; Mr. Sharat Jain, President& Co-Founder of Rechargeitnow.com; Mr Pradeep Shoran, AGM KUKA Robotics India Pvt; Mr Rajat Gupta, Founder and CEO, TESSOL Ltd; Mr Ravi Agarwal, Director Pepperl & Fuchs and many more. Key Speakers during the two special technical sessions focused upon manufacturing as the key factor of the Indian economy because they felt like the sector helps to increment the share of exports and the Balance of payments of the country. They have also described the key challenges which needs to measured and verified which are key reforms, infrastructure and tax rationalization. PGDM students were benefited by the discussions and opinions shared by the delegates.
