A Panel Discussion on the topic “Skill Development: The way to Market-Ready Students” was organized at Himachal Bhawan, New Delhi by The Education Post for “the Educators’ Dialogue Episode-1”. Eminent Academicians from Top B School & Universities were invited to discuss the role of skill development in preparing the students for the market. Skills and knowledge are the driving forces of economic growth and social development of any country. Countries with higher and better levels of skills adjust more effectively to the challenges and opportunities of globalization.

She shared innumerable tips on building a strong and powerful Resume. She enlightened the current batch with fundamentals and guidelines about how they can do well in the corporate world. Her session was indeed a value addition and eye opener for our PGDM 2015-17 batch. The session ended with interactive questions-answer round and students had dual benefits of getting reconnected with the alumni and learning from her experiences.

The workshop was organized in association with RCPL (Authorized Delivery partner of Oracle) for MCA Final Year Students on August 7, 2015. Dr. Urvashi Makkar – Director IMS Ghaziabad along with Mr. Mohd Daneyal, Trainer – RCPL inaugurated the workshop. Mr. Daneyal not only introduced the concepts of Android Operating System to Students but also helped them in developing applications practically. Dr. Avadhesh Kumar Gupta – Head MCA, highlighted the importance of recent advances in Mobile Operating System and how it has changed the way world communicates today. During the highly interactive workshop, The Students were exposed to learn the latest Mobile Operating System and how to develop Mobile Apps in Android.
